PEMF Therapy - A Boon For Mankind

Pulsed electromagnetic field or PEMF discovery is a great boon for mankind. Electromagnetic field therapies are in use since the invention of electricity and were widely used in Eastern and Western Europe. In North America, it was restricted to animals until recently.

PEMF leads to a radical change with the Double Nobel Prize Winner Dr. Linus Pauling. PEMF with advanced secret technology, has revolutionized the medical world as it is offers great solutions in today's health problems, especially chronic pains due to illness, injuries, surgeries, old age and trauma of incurable health issues.

Pulsed electromagnetic field system was approved by the FDA in 2004, for cervical fusion surgery, at high risk for non-fusion. Depression is one of the most horrible health problems that create more gloomy life for people with health troubles. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is used for people since 2008 who failed to respond to antidepressants, approved by FDA. PEMF devices that are approved by FDA to make health claims require a physician's prescription for use.

PEMF therapy has changed the way how doctors treat pains.

PEMF devices run on the principle of pulsed electromagnetic field therapy. Veterinarians were the first health professionals to use PEMF treatment, to heal fractured legs in race horses.

Though electricity's potential to aid in healing of bones was reported in 1841, scientists seriously studied the subject not until mid 1950s. Nikola Tesla discovered electromagnetic fields for health sector and used it in early 1900s. The devices were large, round solenoid Tesla coils of wire that surround the patient while they stand or lie down. The patients were energized directly from 50 or 60 Hz sine wave electrical system, thus experiencing immediate pain relief. Original PEMF devices consisted Helmholtz coils, that generated magnetic field and the patients were placed inside the magnetic field for treatment.

PEMF treatment is claimed to treat fractures. For treating delayed fractures, in 1970s, Basset and his team introduced a technique which used specific bi-phase low frequency signals. But the evidence is insufficient and inconclusive to confirm present day clinical practices. Eventually, electro-therapeutic devices fell out of favor with doctors as the pharmaceutical industries discredited electromagnetic therapy, branding it "quackery". The first PEMF device was recognised as 'lightning' machine as it charges up our cells with electricity. The cells are mostly low on energy for many reasons like illness or even injuries. PEMF technology also treats pains in the areas of low voltage in the body using magnetic fields. They send a 'package' of energy into the low energy areas, thus the cells receive electricity immediately, healing the body parts.

Most of the PEMFs available now are 'wellness devices'.

There are several different devices available online. You could search for PEMF or PEMF for sale. Sometimes, you might find them with little information expounding what makes one PEMF device better than the other. You would find confusing numbers and baffling scientific terms when you try to find the differences among all PEMF machines. So, search Pulsed electromagnetic field device review or PEMF review, and you could find the reviews of other people, making it easy for you to know more.
